In the book of John chapter 4 Jesus meets an imperfect woman who is dealing with an imperfect society. She is trying to get away from all the stuff that she has going on. She needs water so she goes to get it at a time where she knew no one would be there. She figured by going at that time would give her a break from all the stuff and all the people that judged her concerning all her stuff. Fortunately for her Jesus was there. Amazingly she met Jesus; a man that didn’t judge her, that didn’t look down on her and who talked to her and treated her with love. In their covers action worship comes up and Jesus says this in verse 23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.

God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). This scripture tells what TRU-Church is all about. We are TRU worshipers, that means we are genuine. And we worship the Father in spirit and in TRUth (reality). God is our reality!

Bishop Dyer planted Praise Fellowship Worship Center in 2002 and later changed the name to TRU Church. Bishop Dyer has a passion to reach people who are lost, wounded, wandering and wondering. He reaches them by giving relevant instruction and insight to God’s Holy Word and by challenging them to be the best they can be.

Bishop Dyer formed The TRU Fellowship in 2018. The TRU Fellowship was formed to help people inside and outside the church to cultivate a personal relationship with Christ, care about those who are disconnected from Christ, contribute by serving community, and connect in relationships. Through The TRU Fellowship, people all over the world have connected and have made huge strides in living life to the fullest.
